Nicknamed Durban for hipsters by no one except Durbanites, Cape Town is a gorgeous city to be sure, particularly if you\u2019re a fan of scenic panoramic views.<\/p>\n

During March of 2016, however, it\u2019s going to become that much more scenic for nerds, as the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World is filled with all sorts of videogaming paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

The City of Cape Town will host is first ever rAge expo from March 18th<\/sup> to the 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

According to an interview by IGN<\/a> with NAG\u2019s (or what was once NAG<\/a>) editor Michael James, Cape Town\u2019s rAge is set to be a different experience from the one that occurs in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to the timing of release dates for big-name titles local game distributors will have limited access to preview code, but there are many new and exciting games shipping early and middle of the year that we\u2019re hoping to showcase in Cape Town,<\/em>\u201d says James.<\/p>\n

The plan is to give local videogame developers some love, make room for a lot of \u201cgeek content\u201d like comics, figurines, artwork, technology, gadgets and a whole lot more.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also expecting expo real state to be set aside for things like trading card games, board games, overclocking demonstrations and a lot of food.<\/p>\n
