And now there\u2019s news of the R7\u00a0370X, and it comes courtesy of the exact same rebrand treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a comparison made by site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expreview.com\/42039.html\" target=\"_blank\">Expreview<\/a>, it was revealed that the R7\u00a0370X in almost every way a R7\u00a0270X.<\/p>\n<p>To be honest, it\u2019s a little disappointing. Many assumed that the remaining X variants in the 300 series, the R7\u00a0360X, R7\u00a0370X and R9\u00a0380X, would involve a little more than simple reworks. Image courtesy of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expreview.com\/42039.html\" target=\"_blank\">Expreview<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Trinidad XT-based R7\u00a0370X is based on the R7\u00a0270X\u2019s Pitcairn XT GPU, which means 2.8 billion transistors, 1280 <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Unified_shader_model\" target=\"_blank\">stream processors<\/a>, 80\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Texture_mapping_unit\" target=\"_blank\">TMUs<\/a> and 32 <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Render_output_unit\" target=\"_blank\">ROPs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The R7\u00a0370X itself will sport a clock speed of 1180\u00a0MHz and a memory clock of 1400 MHz, which means 179.2\u00a0GB\/s bandwidth thanks to its 256-bit bus.
