First teased during their 180 Days of Content<\/em> montage<\/a>, Techland hinted at an expansion for Dying Light<\/em>, Dying Light: The Following<\/em>, and it\u2019s a big \u2018un.<\/p>\n

For Dying Light: The Following we\u2019re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion. Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we\u2019re packing in here.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And from what we can gauge from these latest screenshots, The Following<\/em>, certainly does look big.<\/p>\n

As massive as the world seems from way up high, the prospect of new structures like that, what seems to be, oil refinery, is really rather exciting.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s that much more exciting when there\u2019s a more than enjoyable parkour mechanic at the core.<\/p>\n

And seeing as bad guys are going to be an occurrence around these buildings, we can\u2019t wait for the sort of parkour fist and gun fights we\u2019ll get into.<\/p>\n

\"Dying<\/a><\/p>\n

We really needn\u2019t say anything more than, \u201cvroom, vroooooooom, vroom!\u201d<\/p>\n

The introduction of off-road vehicles is fairly appropriate given the expansive fields and little else in the way of avoiding zombies.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t wait for the thrill of having to drive through the moonlit fields as a pack of volatiles chase us, biters in every other direction.<\/p>\n

Techland promises a feature-heavy, story-based expansion pack for The Following<\/em>, as well as an experience that has been tailored and adjusted according to player feedback. Fantastic.<\/p>\n

Expect to see more of Dying Light: The Following<\/em> at Gamescom.<\/p>\n
