Local gaming service provider iGame has announced that it will be hosting a preliminary seeding league for a fully fledged Medal of Honor league which it plans to run next year. The seeding league will run through November and December, and will be designed to seed teams as well as refine the format for the upcoming 2011 iGame MoH league.<\/p>\n
The official iGame Medal of Honor league will kick off in January 2011.<\/p>\n
iGame is looking for community feedback during the initial phases, so that the league rules and format can be finalized by the end of the year. Participants are encouraged to give their feedback on the iGame forums<\/a>.<\/p>\n Feedback and sign-up threads will be created in time for the game’s launch next week Friday, October 15.<\/p>\n iGame’s Jonathan Smit explained that they “will be testing game modes etc. along with the community in an effort to ensure that the comp is both fun and a true reflection of the competitive gameplay that we have all come to expect from SA’s finest.”<\/p>\n Medal of Honor is EA’s latest stab at the modern military themed FPS genre which is still dominated by Activision’s Call of Duty franchise. There is currently no sign of dedicated Call of Duty: Black Ops servers landing in SA, so Medal of Honor has a reasonable chance of being the biggest current generation FPS for competitive gamers.<\/p>\n You can download the free Medal of Honor beta right now, and iGame<\/a>, SGS<\/a> and Wage<\/a> are all currently hosting beta servers.<\/p>\n
