Prepare for some\u00a0horror, curb-stomping,\u00a0and a whole lot of other insanity.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Gears of War: Ultimate Edition &#8211; August 25<\/h3>\n<p>(Xbox One)<\/p>\n<p>The original <em>Gears of War<\/em> came out back in 2006 for Xbox 360, and it kicked off one of the best shooter franchises around.<\/p>\n<p>Since <em>Gears of War 4<\/em> won\u2019t be hitting the shelves until the end of 2016, Microsoft thought now would be a good time to polish up the first installment for Xbox One.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft isn&#8217;t just shelling out any old remaster with the <em>Gears of War Ultimate Edition<\/em>, though, as the revamped version features over 90 minutes of new campaign gameplay and Dolby 7.1 surround sound.<\/p>\n<p>Also included are 19 multiplayer maps with all of the previously-released DLC, including the PC-exclusive maps, 17 unlockable <em>Gears of War 3<\/em> characters for use in multiplayer, tournament controls, 1080p\/60fps and features from <em>Gears of War 3<\/em> like enemy spotting.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rwbYhvlrQbc\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Until Dawn &#8211; August 26<\/h3>\n<p>(PS4)<\/p>\n<p>If you like horror movies, then you\u2019ll definitely want to check out<em> Until Dawn<\/em>, a game that puts you in the shoes of eight potential murder victims.<\/p>\n<p>Like many scary flicks, the game follows a group of teenagers who decide to spend the night in a cabin in the woods, a locale that just happens to be in the path of a serial killer.<\/p>\n<p>You get to play as each of the could-be victims, making decisions about where they hide and how they react when the killer comes looking for blood.<\/p>\n<p>Your choices determine who lives and who dies, so if you\u2019re always rolling your eyes at the silly choices characters make during slasher flicks, give <em>Until Dawn<\/em> a try to put yourself in the firing-line for once.<\/p>\n<p>He <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/features\/78494-hands-on-with-until-dawn-it-has-potential-to-be-something-special.html\" target=\"_blank\">gave it a try earlier this year<\/a>, and we rather
