So we though, why not list of the open-worlds we&#8217;re most excited to explore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>With that in mind, here&#8217;s 5 upcoming open-world adventures we cannot wait to dive into:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Mad Max &#8211; September 1<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>(Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Mad-Max.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-80541\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Mad-Max.jpg\" alt=\"Open-world Games - Mad Max\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Mad-Max.jpg 700w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Mad-Max-230x130.jpg 230w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Mad-Max-640x360.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The original <em>Mad Max<\/em> movies (including the recently-released <em>Fury Road<\/em>) are jam-packed with vehicular carnage and massive explosions, and the forthcoming game is set to bring that to the table, along with a massive open-world that we&#8217;re desperate to explore.<\/p>\n<p>Avalanche Studios have crafted a massive map\u00a0that will allow you to transition from on-foot combat to in-car destruction on-the-fly.<\/p>\n<p>Flipping cars, detonating opponents and punching dudes in the face\u2026 what more could you want?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Just Cause 3 &#8211; Late 2015<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>(Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Just-Cause-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-80543\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Just-Cause-3.jpg\" alt=\"Open-world Games - Just Cause 3\" width=\"600\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The adrenaline-inducing <em>Just Cause 3<\/em> is one of the most exciting-looking games coming our way this year, and we can&#8217;t wait to get our hands on it.<\/p>\n<p>The open-world action sequel sees returning protagonist Rico Rodriguez battle an evil dictatorship in his home country.<\/p>\n<p>Like previous games in the series, Rico\u2019s best friends are a grapple mechanic that allows him to hook onto nearly any object, a redeployable parachute and a new wing suit that lets him free fall at extreme speed.<\/p>\n<p>The title features a 400 square mile map covering three main areas, each of which will be explorable from the start.<\/p>\n<p>Rico can take command of Medici\u2019s towns and use them to fast travel, hideout or save vehicles that can be called in as supply drops. Expect big &#8216;splosions, big jumps and lots of guns when <em>Just Cause 3<\/em> releases later this year.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>The Division &#8211; March 8, 2016<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>(Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-The-Division.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-80547\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-The-Division.jpg\" alt=\"Open-world Games - The Division\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-The-Division.jpg 700w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-The-Division-230x130.jpg 230w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-The-Division-640x360.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ubisoft Massive\u2019s ambitious, persistent online shooter is an enormous undertaking.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve seen developer walkthroughs, but now we want to get our hands on some new details, or even the game, to see its visually impressive Snowdrop Engine and glorious post-apocalyptic open-world set within New York.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Division&#8217;s<\/em> massive world will also be greatly utilised, as you can team up with other <em>The Division<\/em> players across the map via online play.<\/p>\n<p>Players can customise\u00a0their character, backpack and level up weapons, gear and skills.<\/p>\n<p>The game also features a dynamic, time based weather system\u00a0in the winter-swept NY, which players\u00a0can use for strategic advantage.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Assassin&#8217;s Creed: Syndicate &#8211; October 23<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>(Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Assassins-Creed-Syndiate.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-80545\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Assassins-Creed-Syndiate.jpg\" alt=\"Open-world Games - Assassin's Creed: Syndiate\" width=\"600\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Assassins-Creed-Syndiate.jpg 700w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Open-world-Games-Assassins-Creed-Syndiate-230x130.jpg 230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next instalment in the much-loved <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/em> series has piqued our interest.<\/p>\n<p>After the somewhat underwhelming <em>Unity<\/em>, the franchise is making a jump from Paris to Victorian-era London, which in the gameplay demos we&#8217;ve seen, looks alive and begging to be explored.<\/p>\n<p>As with real-life London in those times, the world will have different dynamics to the multiple areas of the city.<\/p>\n<p>From poor, crime-ridden boroughs to upper-class cobblestone streets will pave the way for some exciting gameplay.<\/p>\n<p>Carriages fill the streets, the buildings are taller than ever and dense crowds pack the sidewalks, meaning you\u2019ll need some help getting around the city.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s where the introduction of the rope launcher comes in.<\/p>\n<p>A new addition to the Assassin gauntlet, the rope launcher will propel you to new heights at a faster pace or even let you create a zipline between buildings and avoid the streets altogether.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Fallout 4 &#8211;
