For those who didn\u2019t know, Forza Motorsport 6\u2019s <\/em>rather hefty 13GB demo<\/a> is available for play right now.<\/p>\n

The demo is set to give you a taste of what\u2019s to come with a selected range of cars and tracks with which to choose from, all of the cars of which offer full damage models, working and highly detailed cockpits as well as the full Forzavista treatment \u2013 hence the size of the demo.<\/p>\n

And while the new features and updated gameplay are the most entertaining aspect of the demo, Forza 6<\/em> plays beautifully by the way, it\u2019s the visual update to the franchise that we\u2019re most interested in.<\/p>\n

The addition of far more detailed tracks and their environments, 3D physics-based weather effects and the most detailed vehicles Turn 10 Studios has produced thus far are all visual treats to be sure. More than that, they throw a number of additional physics calculations and some serious compute requirements at the Xbox One.<\/p>\n

In spite of all of that, as Digital Foundry<\/a> has reported, the game runs at a rock-solid, steady 60 frames per second with nary a glitch, stutter or screen tear to be seen.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to imagine without seeing it, but it\u2019s immensely impressive and a sign of some seriously skilled optimisation by the boys and girls at Turn 10.<\/p>\n
