{"id":81337,"date":"2015-09-14T16:30:10","date_gmt":"2015-09-14T14:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=81337"},"modified":"2015-09-14T16:56:39","modified_gmt":"2015-09-14T14:56:39","slug":"starcraft-ii-legacy-of-the-voids-opening-cinematic-is-spectacular-launches-november-10th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/81337-starcraft-ii-legacy-of-the-voids-opening-cinematic-is-spectacular-launches-november-10th","title":{"rendered":"StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void&#8217;s opening cinematic is spectacular: launches November 10th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When it comes to cinematics, Blizzard have yet to disappoint.<\/p>\n<p>From the days of <em>Warcraft<\/em>, and right through to their most recent title, <em>Overwatch<\/em>, with it is Pixar-esque and really rather superbly directed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FqnKB22pOC0\" target=\"_blank\">cinematic trailer<\/a>, their cinematics are almost as good as their games \u2013 that\u2019s saying something.<\/p>\n<p>And the opening cinematic for the final chapter for <em>StarCraft II<\/em>, <em>Legacy of the Void<\/em>, is no different.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrating what Zealots, High Templars and even an Archon can do in gloriously rendered detail, it\u2019s a must-see for any fan of <em>StarCraft<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/35Mk4a2LifU\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Cinematics like this do so much for the lore of <em>StarCraft<\/em>, providing a perspective you otherwise don\u2019t get from an RTS viewpoint.<\/p>\n<p>More than that, it just has us excited for the conclusion of the campaign. Because if you thought the multiplayer was the only worthwhile segment of <em>StarCraft<\/em> <em>II<\/em>, then think again.<\/p>\n<p>Best of all, we won\u2019t have to wait all that long as Blizzard has announced that the launch date for <em>StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void <\/em>is November 10<sup>th<\/sup>, giving them plenty of time to use beta to rigorously test multiplayer.<\/p>\n<p>Throw in new, exciting modes like <a href=\"http:\/\/starcraft.wikia.com\/wiki\/Archon_Mode\" target=\"_blank\">Archon Mode<\/a>, and we can\u2019t wait.<\/p>\n<p><em>StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void<\/em> is already available for <a href=\"https:\/\/us.battle.net\/shop\/en\/product\/starcraft-ii-legacy-of-the-void\" target=\"_blank\">pre-order<\/a>.
