The world of video games is full of some pretty admirable heroes and heroines, but unfortunately, some of them have to do some dirty work in order to achieve their goals.<\/p>\n

From silent assassinations to bloody beat-downs, these following characters are the best at what they do, even if what they do is not that nice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

5. Raiden (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Most<\/a><\/p>\n

Metal Gear Solid 2<\/em> introduced us to Raiden \u2013 a young hero who, while interesting, came across as a bit of a step backwards compared to playing as Snake.<\/p>\n

He returned in Metal Gear Solid 4<\/em> as a cyborg ninja (we were sold), and he got his chance to show what he could do in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Wielding a sword which resonates at high-frequency, Raiden is able to make sushi out of anything (and we mean anything).<\/p>\n

His incredible athleticism and agility add to his deadliness, as he is able to shred and dismember enemies like a blood-filled ballet.<\/p>\n

Raiden is easily one of the most brutal and dangerous killers in gaming.<\/p>\n

4. Ezio Auditore (Assassin\u2019s Creed II)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Most<\/a><\/p>\n

The Assassin\u2019s Creed<\/em> series is filled with some great assassins, but which righteous killer is the best?<\/p>\n

We had to go with Ezio Auditore \u2013 the brash and charming Italian assassin from the second game stands tall as the most efficient, due to his head-on approach and ability to take out some pretty high-priority targets.<\/p>\n

His proficiency with weapons and hand-to-hand combat skills make him a feared adversary for the ancient Templars, and even Leonardo da Vinci wants to hang out with him; that says a lot.<\/p>\n

3. Kratos (God of War)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Most<\/a><\/p>\n

The Ghost of Sparta, himself, has proven to be one of the most deadly characters in gaming \u2013 he\u2019s literally killed gods, people!<\/p>\n

Kratos is one badass warrior, and while his pure rage and no-holds-barred approach has gotten him into trouble on occasion, it\u2019s also his greatest attribute, as his stubbornly brutal approach has given him the upper-hand in all of his major encounters with mythical beasts, skyscraper-sized titans and treacherous gods.<\/p>\n

Kratos\u2019 \u2018pull every limb off your body\u2019 fighting-style\u00a0is something that isn\u2019t easily countered, and we wouldn\u2019t like to go toe-to-toe with the angry demi-god.<\/p>\n

Would you? Thought not.<\/p>\n

2. Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat series)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Most<\/a><\/p>\n

The Sub-Zero fans know him today as a relative good guy, but the ice-powered warrior who starred in the first Mortal Kombat<\/em>\u00a0was, like his older brother, a brutal assassin who ripped out people\u2019s spines and killed without hesitation or remorse.<\/p>\n

His bloodthirsty\u00a0ways and ability to freeze opponents solid enabled him to punch his way into the hearts of gamers everywhere.<\/p>\n

1. Agent 47 (Hitman series)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Most<\/a><\/p>\n

He could be locked in an impenetrable air-tight chamber of steel, and Agent 47 will find a way to take you out.<\/p>\n

The bald-headed, bar-coded assassin has ruthless efficiency and pinpoint accuracy \u2013 he was cloned and reared as the ultimate assassin after all \u2013 and his brutality knows no bounds.<\/p>\n

Your survival time against Agent 47 is non-existent, because you\u2019re dead before you even know he\u2019s coming for you.<\/p>\n
