{"id":81564,"date":"2015-09-23T10:30:17","date_gmt":"2015-09-23T08:30:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=81564"},"modified":"2015-09-23T10:40:26","modified_gmt":"2015-09-23T08:40:26","slug":"gordon-freeman-is-dead-there-will-be-no-half-life-3-suggests-mad-max","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/81564-gordon-freeman-is-dead-there-will-be-no-half-life-3-suggests-mad-max","title":{"rendered":"Gordon Freeman is dead; there will be no Half-Life 3 suggests Mad Max"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There\u2019s no point in asking if you\u2019ve ever wondered or questioned the fate or absence of <em>Half-Life 2: Episode 3<\/em> or <em>Half-Life 3<\/em> because of course you have \u2013 you probably still do.<\/p>\n<p>Well it seems that, according to Avalanche Studios\u2019 <em>Mad Max<\/em> at least, Gordon Freeman is dead.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s of course just an easter egg, but it\u2019s one worth checking out all the same.<\/p>\n<p>It consists of a gratuitously placed crate, in and among a number of boxes and marked with a fairly obvious \u201c3\u201d. keep in mind that it\u2019d be our future given that <em>Mad Max\u2019s<\/em> post-apocalyptic word takes place in our distant future, supposedly.<\/li>\n<li>And if the events of <em>Half-Life 3<\/em> have taken place, might we assume that humanity\u2019s war with the combine was the real reason for this post-apocalyptic word;
