Samsung and Facebook\u2019s Oculus said that their new Gear VR headset, priced at $99, should become available in November 2015.<\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s Peter Koo announced the new Gear VR headset price and launch date at Facebook\u2019s Oculus Connect VR developer conference.<\/p>\n

The new $99 Gear VR headset replaces the previous version which costs $200, and will work with mobile devices like Samsung\u2019s Note 5 and Galaxy S6 smartphones.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith mobile VR, you only need a great mobile game device and a smartphone,\u201d said Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe.<\/p>\n
