Team 17’s Worms: Reloaded is getting a spooky makeover for Halloween and a nice discount to encourage you to pick up the title.<\/p>\n
Steam will be offering a 50% discount on Worms: Reloaded, pricing the game at US$9.99 (±70). The offer is valid until 31 October 2010.<\/p>\n
Team17 will also be introducing some special Halloween-themed Worms hats for all owners of the game. Worms: Reloaded players will only have access to the hats for a limited time – until 7 November 2010.<\/p>\n

Worms is truly a case of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ game design. Team 17 seems to have taken that to heart after their venture into 3D and a simple return to the Worms format of old, albeit it with plenty of touch-ups and polish, is most welcome.<\/p>\n Worms: Reloaded puts players in control of a team of cartoonish, anthropomorphised annelids, hell-bent on the turn based destruction of each other through the use of a varied and deadly arsenal of weaponry. The game is presented in a colourful 2D cross section of the world in which the worms do battle – a world which is slowly torn apart by the worms’ destructive tendencies.
