{"id":82837,"date":"2015-10-26T17:30:51","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T15:30:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=82837"},"modified":"2015-10-27T11:53:39","modified_gmt":"2015-10-27T09:53:39","slug":"canal-walk-cape-town-and-bt-games-to-host-gaming-expo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/82837-canal-walk-cape-town-and-bt-games-to-host-gaming-expo","title":{"rendered":"Canal Walk, Cape Town and BT Games to host Gaming Expo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Canal Walk Shopping Centre will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1053672931333687\/\" target=\"_blank\">host a gaming expo<\/a> from 27 October to 1 November 2015 with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.btgames.co.za\/BT\/SPages\/canalwalk\/expo.asp\" target=\"_blank\">BT Games<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The expo will be held in the mall\u2019s Centre Court and will run from 09:00 to 21:00 every day.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature competitions, new game launches, cosplay, and many other activities.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the events on the schedule include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Guitar Hero play-offs\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0winner gets a hamper plus a Guitar Hero starter pack.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Just Dance dance-offs\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 winner wins a selfie stick, copy of the game, and speakers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cosplay \u2013 Saturday finals.<\/strong>\u00a0Anyone can enter. Prize to be confirmed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sphero BB8 challenge.<\/strong>\u00a0Saturday final on stage, with entrants randomly selecred\u00a0from the crowd.
