Microsoft recently released\u00a0the\u00a0first major update<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for Windows 10.<\/p>\n

Aimed at PCs and tablets, Microsoft said that the update contains improvements to all aspects of the OS\u00a0\u2013 including thousands of partners updating their device drivers and applications for Windows 10 compatibility.<\/p>\n

Skype integration is included in the Windows 10 update, along with the inclusion of apps like Messaging, Phone, and Skype Video.<\/p>\n

Track your laptop\u2019s location using Windows 10, which works in a similar way to the software\u2019s mobile equivalent. Enable \u201cfind my device\u201d to access this functionality, which is linked to your Microsoft Account.<\/p>\n

Cast media to device<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you use the Microsoft Edge browser, there is now an option to cast media to a device \u2013 which lets users send photos, video, and audio to compatible devices with no setup required.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Edge sync passwords<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Users who own multiple Windows 10 devices can now enable a\u00a0sync option in Edge, which lets the browser sync passwords and favorites across all laptops, phones, and tablets.<\/p>\n

Automatic time zones<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There is a new setting under the Time and Language option, which lets users set time zones to \u201cautomatic\u201d. This means that if you travel, your device will automatically update to the relevant time zone.<\/p>\n

Reply to texts\u00a0with Cortana<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A new option in Cortana lets users\u00a0enable missed call notifications, which allows you to reply to calls with text messages via a voice command.<\/p>\n
