AMD has unveiled its\u00a0R9 380X, which Anandtech<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0reports will slot in between Nvidia\u2019s\u00a0GeForce GTX 970<\/a> and GTX 960<\/a> cards.<\/p>\n

The card will retail for $229<\/strong> (R3, 200<\/strong>) in the States, and features the company\u2019s Tonga GPU.<\/p>\n

Compared to the\u00a0R9 380\u2019s 28 CUs, Anandtech said that all 32 of the\u00a0R9 380X\u2019s CUs are enabled \u2013 which means increased stream processors and texture resources.<\/p>\n

Memory bus width comes in at 256-bit, while VRAM hits\u00a0the 4GB mark.<\/p>\n
