Fans of THQ’s Darksiders will be thrilled to know that a direct sequel was recently confirmed. However, Speaking at an investor call, CEO Brian Farrel had this to say:<\/p>\n

“For fiscal 2013 we plan to release a sequel to our critically acclaimed Darksiders game and will be unveiling more details about Darksiders 2 in the future.”<\/p>\n

“Fiscal 2013” means somewhere between April 2012 and March 2013.<\/p>\n

Darksiders was a surprisingly good action-adventure, and was initially released on PS3 and Xbox 360, before later making its way to PC.<\/p>\n

Apart from this tidbit, nothing else is known of the sequel.<\/p>\n

THQ is also aiming to release their Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millenium MMO during the same fiscal 2013 period.<\/p>\n
