{"id":84013,"date":"2015-12-01T12:00:03","date_gmt":"2015-12-01T10:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=84013"},"modified":"2015-12-01T12:19:39","modified_gmt":"2015-12-01T10:19:39","slug":"mtns-r11-000-plus-xbox-one-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/84013-mtns-r11-000-plus-xbox-one-deal","title":{"rendered":"MTN&#8217;s R11 000 plus Xbox One deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A perusal of MTN\u2019s online store, we\u2019re talking <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.mtn.co.za\/crs\/jump\/product\/4870064\/Xbox-One-%2B-ShareLink-B593S\" target=\"_blank\">this page<\/a> in particular, lists an Xbox One and My MTNChoice 1GB contract for <strong>R559<\/strong> for 24 months.<\/p>\n<p>A quick calculation puts that at <strong>R13, 416<\/strong>, otherwise known as a heck of a lot of money, so it\u2019s going to have to be quite the package to be worth it. Here\u2019s what you get:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Xbox One 500GB<\/li>\n<li>2x wireless controllers<\/li>\n<li><em>FIFA 16<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Forza 6<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Disney Infinity 2.0<\/em><\/li>\n<li>12-month Xbox Live access<\/li>\n<li>Sh@reLink B593S LTE router<\/li>\n<li>30GB of free data for the first 30 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While their particular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtn.co.za\/everyday_services\/calling_voicemail\/Pages\/My-MTN-Choice.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">billing site<\/a> is reporting 404 errors, last time we checked their My MTNChoice 1GB contract was <strong>R83 p\/m<\/strong> <strong>(R1, 992 <\/strong>for 24 months).<\/p>\n<p>Throw in <strong>R7, 999<\/strong> from the approximate price of the Xbox One bundle and we\u2019re looking at <strong>R9, 991<\/strong>.
