If Dragon\u2019s Dogma: Dark Arisen<\/em> was a pawn itself, on its way to aid the players of the PC world, it\u2019s very clearly been level and loot grinding because it comes fairly equipped.<\/p>\n

Set to arrive for PCs early next year, most likely January 15th<\/sup> according to Capcom Germany<\/a>, Dragon\u2019s Dogma: Dark Arisen<\/em> will sport uncompressed textures, a myriad of additional graphical enhancements and a much improved frame rate.<\/p>\n

In fact, the inclusion of 4k textures<\/a> and an unlocked frame rate<\/a> are some of the most exciting additions made \u2013 oh, and finally being able to play the game on PC is cool too.<\/p>\n

What we didn\u2019t know, however, was just how accommodating of PC hardware Dragon\u2019s Dogma<\/em> would be. While not the officially confirmed specs, Gamestar.de<\/a> has posted them.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intel Core 2 Duo E8200, 2.7 GHz<\/p>\n

2GB RAM<\/p>\n

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 or AMD Radeon HD 4850<\/p>\n

Windows Vista 32 Bit<\/p>\n

Recommended Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intel Core i5 660\/AMD Phenom II X4\u00a0840<\/p>\n

4GB RAM<\/p>\n

Radeon HD 5870\/GeForce GTX 480<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If accurate, they\u2019re hardly taxing. But please do keep in mind that you will need a lot more for 4K 60fps or 1440p at 144fps.<\/p>\n

\"Dragon's<\/p>\n

According to William Bacon<\/a>, Capcom\u2019s Senior Director of Digital Platforms, \u201cyou’ll need a fast, discrete GPU to run at full 1440p\/144 fps with graphics settings maxed out.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

That’s because: “While textures won’t compare to current gen titles built from the ground up, the assets in DDDA PC will look better than past gen console versions since they’re original, uncompressed assets.<\/em>” And that’s a lot of additional pixels to push.<\/p>\n

That said, we suspect that being an MT. Framework<\/a> game and what we\u2019ve been able to do with NVIDIA Inspector, or even vanilla NVIDIA Control Panel, in other MT. Framework powered games, like Resident Evil 6 <\/em>and Lost Planet 2<\/em>, there are a number of additional graphical effects that can be applied.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking about thing like improved anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering, for example.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t wait. And if you can\u2019t either, we\u2019d recommend this recently released gameplay and set of helpful tips from Capcom.<\/p>\n
