As we, and many others, predicted in mid-November,\u00a0System Shock 3<\/em> is\u00a0indeed real<\/a>. Further evidence indicates this to be true.<\/p>\n

A month ago, Night Dive Studios revealed they were doing a remake of the original System Shock<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It was also mentioned\u00a0that they were in talks about possibly making\u00a0System Shock 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It appears that the talks were very lucrative as we now have a teaser for\u00a0System Shock 3<\/em><\/a> from Otherside Entertainment, the small studio behind Ultima Underworld<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This is all started getting steam on Monday when Otherside posted a cryptic teaser page and countdown<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following this, a member of the RPG Codex Forum<\/a>\u00a0proceeded to do some research and found this URL<\/a>, which shows\u00a0off the final teaser revealing\u00a0System Shock 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When you look at the source for the page it says,”Join the original team behind Ultima Underworld<\/em> on a quest to rekindle this legendary fantasy RPG series.”\u00a0This is obviously\u00a0referring to Otherside’s\u00a0Kickstarter project Underworld Ascendant<\/em>.<\/p>\n

However, in the same breath, it can be applied to\u00a0System Shock<\/em> as well. Then you have the final teaser which basically confirms\u00a0System Shock 3\u00a0<\/em>above everything else.<\/p>\n

Add to this, the\u00a0promotions link that will take you to\u00a0a System Shock 3<\/em> mailing list<\/a>\u00a0and the game is pretty much confirmed.<\/p>\n

We’re really excited for the game, but we’re left wondering whether Otherside is up to the task to carry on the legacy of the franchise.<\/p>\n
