ZeniMax Media, parent media company to the likes of Arkane Studios, id Software and Bethesda Game Studios, looks to be opening a new Bethesda studio in Montreal, Quebec.<\/p>\n

The goal is to expand Bethesda\u2019s console, PC and mobile gaming repertoire.<\/p>\n

“We’ve worked with some very talented developers in Montreal for a long time, and decided it was time to open a studio there,<\/em>” said Todd Howard, Game Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios. “It’s exciting to think about the new games we’ll be building together.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Managed by Yves Lachance, as Studio Director, and with more than 40 developers on hand already, Bethesda Game Studios Montreal is probably going to come out swinging.<\/p>\n

“We are thrilled to be launching the studio in Montreal and contributing our city’s great game-making talent to the kind of games that Bethesda Game Studios is known for,<\/em>” said Lachance.<\/p>\n

For the moment, they\u2019re still looking to fill some rather important positions<\/a>; we expect big things.<\/p>\n
