<\/a><\/p>\nFallout 4<\/em> is perhaps one of the most addictive games of the year, hardly surprising considering it’s a Bethesda game, but no one told this gamer.<\/p>\n In fact, according to a report by RT News<\/a>, a man from Russia spent three straight weeks playing Fallout 4<\/em>, and all the while ignoring his wife, job and children.<\/p>\n As you might expect, then, his play session ultimately lead to wife wanting a divorce as well as losing his job. And he’s blaming Fallout 4<\/em> and Bethesda.<\/p>\n He’s suing Bethesda for $7, 000 in compensation, claiming that neither Bethesda nor the game warns him that Fallout 4<\/em> was addictive. Should he have known, he says, he would have behaved more responsibly.<\/p>\n You know, because symptoms like your boss screaming down your throat, unhappy children and a frustrated wife aren’t reason enough? We probably would have noticed after not showering for a few days \u2013 the smell would have given it away \u2013 but that’s just us.<\/p>\n According to the 28-year old, “If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it. I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays.<\/em>”<\/p>\n It’s the first case of its type in Russia, but not the first time we’ve heard this story. Either way, the law firm representing the gamer is doing so mostly to see how far they can push it.<\/p>\n The result of a win would be a legal precedent, likely culminating in more cases being brought to the courts and, eventually, addiction warning stickers on retailer boxes in Russia.<\/p>\n Imagine: a man is hit by a car while playing Fallout 4<\/a><\/p>\n Oculus Rift will require four USB ports, three of them USB 3.0<\/a><\/p>\n Script kiddies say they\u2019ll ruin Christmas for gamers<\/a><\/p>\n
