2015 has been an incredible year for gaming. But as we try and wrap-up our gaming backlogs for the year, we\u2019re already taking a look at what 2016 has in store for us, because there\u2019s just so many damn exciting games heading our way:<\/span><\/p>\n

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided<\/span><\/h2>\n
Release date: 23 August 2016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/span><\/h5>\n

Deus Ex: Human Revolution<\/em>\u00a0was a breakout hit in 2011, mixing up the monotony of first-person shooters and introducing some clever gameplay mechanics to the world of Deus Ex<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided<\/em> sees the same team of creators emboldened by their success and working on an even grander scale, continuing the role-playing story of the consequences of human augmentation with technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom Clancy\u2019s The Division<\/span><\/h2>\n
Release date: 8 March\u00a02016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/span><\/h5>\n

Ubisoft Massive\u2019s ambitious, persistent online shooter is an enormous undertaking. <\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen developer walkthroughs, but now we want to get our hands on the game\u00a0to see its\u00a0post-apocalyptic open-world New York, which has been ravaged by a deadly outbreak.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Division<\/em>\u2019s massive world will also be greatly utilised, as you can team up with other Division<\/em> players across the map via online play.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Players can customise\u00a0their character, backpack and level up weapons, gear, and skills. <\/span><\/p>\n

The game also features a dynamic, time based weather system\u00a0in the winter-swept NY, which players\u00a0can use for strategic advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uncharted 4: A Thief\u2019s End<\/span><\/h2>\n
Release date: 18\u00a0March\u00a02016 (PS4)<\/span><\/h5>\n

The Uncharted<\/em> series needs little to no introduction at this point. <\/span>After three best-selling games and numerous Game of the Year awards, the franchise is set to get its fourth long-awaited instalment. <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s not too many details at this point, but our favourite treasure hunter looks to be embarking on\u00a0his most ambitious and dangerous adventure yet, full of steep cliffs to climb, epic shootouts to partake in and a lot of massive explosions to survive. <\/span><\/p>\n

The gameplay demos have already given us a glimpse of the incredible level of detail and action we\u2019ve come to expect from the series.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Uncharted<\/span><\/p>\n

Mirror\u2019s Edge Catalyst<\/span><\/h2>\n
Release date: 26 May\u00a02016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/span><\/h5>\n

It\u2019s always nice to see a cult classic get a second chance in the spotlight. <\/span><\/p>\n

The original Mirror\u2019s Edge\u00a0<\/em>delivered the critically-praised and novel concept of a first-person parkour game, and those who played it generally loved it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Simply known as Mirror\u2019s Edge: Catalyst<\/em>, the new game\u00a0sees the return of the heroine Faith and her free-running antics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the pre-alpha gameplay footage we\u2019ve seen so far, the Catalyst<\/em> is looking fluid, fast, and absolutely gorgeous, running on the Frostbite 3 engine (Battlefield 4<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Doom<\/span><\/h2>\n
Release date: Q1\/Q2 2016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)<\/span><\/h5>\n

Bethesda got things off with a bang\u00a0with their initial reveal of Doom<\/em>, giving us a look at id Software\u2019s highly-anticipated\u00a0reboot, which is gory, loud, brutal and gorgeous \u2013 exactly what we\u2019ve been hoping for.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Doom<\/em> maintains so much of what we know and love about the franchise: grimy metal corridors, all manner of hellish demons eager to hasten your demise, and an arsenal of firearms and other fun weapons to let you make quick work of them. <\/span><\/p>\n

The game also features execution moves known as Glory Kills, such as ripping demons\u2019 jaws off, breaking limbs and sawing them in half. It\u2019s all pretty spectacular in motion.<\/span><\/p>\n
