Uncharted<\/em> fans, look away, as the news you\u2019ve been hoping wouldn\u2019t come has reared its ugly head.<\/p>\n

Uncharted 4: A Thief\u2019s End<\/em> has been delayed to\u00a027\u00a0April 2016, adding another month of perilous waiting from its original 18\u00a0March release date.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the Playstation Blog<\/a>, Naughty Dog\u00a0creative director Neil Druckmann and game director Bruce Straley explained that the delay is to ensure \u201ca few more polish passes\u201d before the game hits shelves.<\/p>\n

This is our largest Uncharted<\/em>, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game\u2019s development in a timely manner. However, as we started to approach our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game\u2019s levels, we realised that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There\u2019s not too many details on A Thief\u2019s End<\/em> story at this point, but our favourite treasure hunter, Nathan Drake, looks to be embarking on\u00a0his most ambitious and dangerous adventure yet.<\/p>\n

An adventure full of steep cliffs to climb, epic shootouts to partake in and a lot of massive explosions to survive.<\/p>\n

The gameplay demos have already given us a glimpse of the incredible level of detail and action we\u2019ve come to expect from the series.<\/p>\n
