From good ol\u2019 Windows 95 running on the New Nintendo 3DS<\/a> to the most advanced OS from Microsoft yet, Windows 10, running on well… everything. Like it or not, Windows 10 is everywhere \u2013 it\u2019s a real Genisys<\/a> event.<\/p>\n

If ever there was an omnipresent, Orwellian-like synthetic entity to usurp humanity, it’s Windows 10. Don\u2019t believe us? Just look at the numbers.<\/p>\n

According to statistics garnered by WinBeta<\/a>, Windows 10 has been installed on more than 200 million devices, having just reached 110 million in October<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s more than 90 million devices in around three months and 200 million in less than half a year \u2013 believe us now?<\/p>\n

Microsoft is aiming for one billion devices in three years, which is quite the goal, but they\u2019re well on their way there.<\/p>\n

And with the sheer number of Windows 10 devices predicted to sell this year, as well as DirectX 12-powered games set to release in earnest, we wouldn\u2019t be all that surprised if Microsoft changed Windows 10\u2019s name to SHODAN<\/a> or Skynet<\/a>.<\/p>\n
