Amazon France was very nearly on the money when they listed Rise of the Tomb Raider\u2019s <\/em>release date as January 29th<\/sup><\/a> \u2013 in fact, it\u2019s January 28th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

A Square Enix press release regarding Rise of the Tomb Raider<\/em> released yesterday, confirming the game\u2019s release date, and Rise of the Tomb Raider’s<\/em> Steam page<\/a> reflects that.<\/p>\n

The PCs early release, as compared to the much later PlayStation 4 one<\/a>, is a part of Microsoft\u2019s recent refocus on PC gaming.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,<\/em>\u201d said Scot Amos co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s great news, and in keeping with the positivity, we\u2019ve got the minimum requirements for you:<\/p>\n

If Rise of the Tomb Raider<\/em> is anything like the initial reboot, PCs meeting this specification should find playable frame rates.<\/p>\n

However, for those of you with more capable PCs, you\u2019ll find a lot of room to bump up the visuals; and then there\u2019s 4K for those of you with beastly rigs.<\/p>\n
