Admit it, not even Sony\u2019s most stalwart fans would be shocked to see Bloodborne <\/em>release for the PC. But don\u2019t get your hopes up; it\u2019s unlikely to happen.<\/p>\n

Our question is then, what the heck are hardware manufacturers and retailers doing using Bloodborne<\/em> images to sell their wares?<\/p>\n

They\u2019re either using marketing teams who aren\u2019t all that bothered with doing the research, or they\u2019re ignorant to the pain they cause us when they remind us of what we can\u2019t have.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking about an image used to sell an Acer Aspire Notebook in a local German newspaper. It\u2019s probably a blunder on the retailer\u2019s behalf.<\/p>\n

\"Bloodborne\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And MSI\u2019s use of Bloodborne<\/em>, among a number of other games, as marketing for their Gaming Certified MSI Gaming Motherboards.<\/p>\n

\"Bloodborne\"<\/a><\/p>\n

WCCFTech<\/a> is probably right to point out that a generic image was pulled from Google when designing the page, with little to no thought on the games it contained.<\/p>\n

A simple Google search<\/a> will show that a number of sites have used the same image you\u2019ll find below.<\/p>\n

\"2015<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cconsole war\u201d, which is really just competition between the likes of Sony and Microsoft, means using exclusives of some sort to compel gamers to purchase their hardware and software over the other. There\u2019s Nintendo too, but they\u2019re not really competing in the home console market at the moment.<\/p>\n

For PC gamers, however, thanks to Microsoft\u2019s newfound focus on PC gaming, we tend to get the best of both worlds. And because Sony isn\u2019t usually bothered with their exclusives eventually arriving on the PC platform, as it rarely impacts the Xbox One\u2019s performance, PC gamers find themselves in a very prestigious position.<\/p>\n

After all, releasing to PC helps developers and publishers earn extra dough, which is sometimes a necessity if they\u2019re to earn back their investment, and then some, due to the nature of releasing to a single platform.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s possible that this is just a chain of unlikely mishaps pointing to a forthcoming port, it\u2019s not something to dwell on.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also willing to bet that if FromSoftware was going to release Bloodborne<\/em> for PC, they\u2019d wait for Dark Souls III <\/em>to release and have some time to sell appropriately, otherwise Bloodborne <\/em>would hinder sales.<\/p>\n
