You may not recall Yoshitaka Amano, Japanese artist, illustrator and character designer, but you\u2019ve definitely heard of or even played some of the games he\u2019s worked on.<\/p>\n

Having provided imagery for nearly every Final Fantasy <\/em>game under the sun, as well as having been commissioned to work on a number of art books, novels and animated projects, Amano is a very accomplished artist.<\/p>\n

How appropriate then, as massive Final Fantasy <\/em>fans, especially of the earlier games he did a lot of character work for, that he was once also commissioned to do some illustrations for a David Bowie short story called Return of the Thing White Duke<\/em>.<\/p>\n

We love ourselves some Under Pressure<\/em> or Space Oddity<\/em>, so we thought it a great way for Bowie to be remembered, minus some truly fantastic music of course.<\/p>\n

Rest in Peace David Bowie; we\u2019ll be sure to play some Ziggy Stardust <\/em>on Guitar Hero 3<\/em> and Fame <\/em>on Guitar Hero 5<\/em> in your honour. You knew how to rock.<\/p>\n
