This is especially true of their RAM kits, which have proven to be a staple of many PC gamers’ rigs and the top choice for builds.<\/p>\n
Corsair have just revealed new Vengeance 32GB, 64GB and 128GB DDR4 memory kits, and these are very fast \u2013 like Sonic fast.<\/p>\n
These new kits are capable of speeds up to\u00a03600MHz and are designed with Intel\u2019s X99 platform in mind. They have full XMP 2.0 support and run at 1.35V with CL16-18-18-36 low latency timings.<\/p>\n
Joining the line-up is the\u00a0new Vengeance LPX 64GB (4x16GB) 3,333MHz and Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) 3,600MHz kits.<\/p>\n
Both kits are the highest frequency 64GB and 32GB DDR4 kits ever to come out of Corsair, and are optimised especially for Intel\u2019s Z170 platform.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0LPX 64GB (4x16GB) 3,333MHz kit \u00a0is impressive running at 1.35V with CL16-18-18-36 timings. While in comparison,\u00a0the LPX 32GB (4x8GB) 3,600MHz kit comes in running\u00a0at 1.35V with CL16-19-19-39 timings.<\/p>\n
Corsair\u2019s LPX thermal spreader, which is used for improved\u00a0heat management, comes standard with all three kits.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0kits are already available on the US market, but their pricing outside of the US remains a mystery at this point in time.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0128GB kit is priced\u00a0at $1,174.99<\/strong> (R19,576<\/strong>), the 64GB kit is $549.99<\/strong> (R9,163<\/strong>) and the 32GB is $349.99<\/strong> (R5,831<\/strong>).<\/p>\n Of course, all of these prices exclude tax and remember all the import duties the kits will receive coming into South Africa.<\/p>\n So what are your thoughts on Corsair’s new RAM kits?
