There\u2019s little doubt that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt<\/em> is a fantastic game and a sublime experience, but it\u2019s easy to forget how great of a title The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings<\/em> was.<\/p>\n

Looking to remind everyone, now that the Xbox One is backwards compatible with The Witcher 2<\/em>, CD Projekt RED have announced<\/a> that you can download the second title in the franchise for free, for Xbox One.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t played The Witcher 2<\/em>, we\u2019d highly suggest you take this opportunity to score yourself a copy of one of the finest RPGs released for the Xbox 360.<\/p>\n

Even if you\u2019ve never played The Witcher 3<\/em>, The Witcher 2<\/em> stands as a great entry into the franchise.<\/p>\n

While CD Projekt RED themselves state that the game is only free for the US, Canada, UK, France and Germany, it does seem to be free on our own local Xbox Live as well. You should also be able to grab a copy for your Xbox 360 if you haven\u2019t got an Xbox One yet.<\/p>\n
