After promising that Final Fantasy XV<\/em> would release this year, having delayed the game on numerous occasions, Square Enix has finally set a date\u2026 where they\u2019ll be announcing the release date.<\/p>\n

Come March 30th<\/sup>, Square Enix will be announcing the release date of their latest, numbered flagship title in the Final Fantasy <\/em>franchise.<\/p>\n

The announcement will be made via an Active Time Report (ATR) Square Enix is calling, Final Fantasy XV Uncovered.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, we\u2019ll be given an English event on YouTube as well as Twitch, as hosted by Greg Miller and Tim Gettys.<\/p>\n

We also expect to hear about the improvements and polish made to the game since Episode Duscae and, subsequently, Episode Duscae 2.0.<\/p>\n

There may even be news of a version 3.0, demonstrating some of the final changes and giving us one last chance to show Square Enix where the game needs improvement before release.<\/p>\n

Until then, we\u2019ve got some new footage for you. It comes from the January 30 ATR<\/a> and demonstrates gameplay taking place at Nifheim Base, as well as some some stealth and combat gameplay.<\/p>\n
