UPDATE: <\/strong>Remedy Entertainment has clarified<\/a> that its original recommended specifications are, in fact, to play the game on Ultra.<\/p>\n

The new recommended settings are an i5-4690 or AMD equivalent and a GTX 970 or Radeon R 390, which are far more reasonable.<\/p>\n

Still, a GTX 980 Ti, rather than a GTX 980, seems a little overkill for Ultra settings. Ultra needs to provide fairly noticeable improvements over high to justify the performance increase.<\/p>\n

Also, keep in mind that if Quantum Break<\/em> for the Xbox One gets even close to Ultra, or even matches High settings, it’s still means optimisation issues.<\/p>\n

But not to be pessimists, we’re really excited to have Quantum Break<\/em> coming to PC, especially now that we know we can actually play it. Just don’t forget that you need Windows 10.<\/p>\n

Consider Microsoft\u2019s renewed interest for the PC, something they\u2019ve been harping on about for some time now, and there was no way they\u2019d let a game with production values like this go to waste.<\/p>\n
