Price comparison site Twenga polled 3000 people, and discovered that – despite what hype-snorting marketers might have us believe to the contrary– nobody’s much bothered about 3D yet.<\/p>\n

According to the survey, only one percent of UK consumers had any plans to buy a 3D TV this holiday shopping season, while the average between six countries (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands) showed that:<\/p>\n

• 32 percent of respondents thought 3D TVs were too expensive;<\/p>\n

• 12 percent said the tech isn’t up to scratch;<\/p>\n

• 12 percent are interested in some other type of TV;<\/p>\n

• 35 percent don’t want a 3D TV at all;<\/p>\n

• 3 percent couldn’t decide whether or not they wanted a 3D TV;<\/p>\n

• 1 percent didn’t know what a 3D TV is.<\/p>\n

Presumably, 100 percent of respondents also decided those glasses make you look stupid. <\/p>\n
