The Seattle Times accidentally broke embargo for Forza Motorsport 6: Apex<\/em>, but that works out for us just fine.<\/p>\n

According to a piece by The Seattle times<\/a>, which has since been pulled, Microsoft is set to launch yet another formerly Xbox One exclusive title on PC.<\/p>\n

Forza 6: Apex <\/em>is a stripped down, free version of Turn 10 Studios\u2019 Forza Motorsport 6 <\/em>for Windows 10 users.<\/p>\n

Positioned as a demonstration of what Windows 10 can do for PC gaming, as of yet there\u2019s no confirmation of what will and won\u2019t be included in the PC release.<\/p>\n

We imagine that Microsoft and Turn 10 are going to offer players who enjoy Forza Motorsport 6: Apex<\/em> the option to purchase additional tracks and cars. After all, they\u2019re pretty dedicated to the freemium business model everywhere else.<\/p>\n

Like with Quantum Break<\/a><\/em> and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition<\/a><\/em>, we\u2019re willing to bet that Apex<\/em> will require DirectX 12 as well as the prerequisite Windows 10.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s probably also only going to be available on the Windows Store, which is somewhat annoying given the current issues and inadequacies the store suffers from<\/a>.<\/p>\n
