The Unreal Engine 4 remake of Metal Gear Solid<\/em>, entitled \u2018Shadow Moses\u2019, has been cancelled. That\u2019s according to a statement<\/a> by the Shadow Moses team themselves.<\/p>\n Hi guys!<\/p>\n We have an important announcement to make today:<\/p>\n We have to cancel the Shadow Moses Project for reasons beyond our control.<\/p>\n We would like to thank everyone for the tremendous support we have received.<\/p>\n Shadow Moses team.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Unfortunate as it is, we all saw it coming.<\/p>\n Konami was never going to give a bunch of interlopers permission to POTENTIALLY tarnish their brand. They\u2019re perfectly capable of ruining their own brands themselves.<\/p>\n We would like to point out, however, that the Shadow Moses team tweeted that a big announcement would be made on March 14th<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n Perhaps Konami have decided to tackle it themselves, and perhaps it\u2019s for the better. Metal Gear Solid<\/em> deserves a lot of love \u2013 something a team of a few inexperienced developers would struggle with.<\/p>\n We just hope that whatever it is, the Shadow Moses team is offered the opportunity to tackle it in some way.<\/p>\n Games you can play this week \u2013 blizzards and barcodes<\/a><\/p>\n The Oculus Rift will come to Mac when Apple make \u201ca good computer\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Steam to charge less when you already own part of a bundle<\/a><\/p>\n
