The latest MyBroadband Speed Test statistics show that Vodacom and MTN\u2019s mobile services offer the lowest local latency.<\/p>\n

MyBroadband\u2019s speed test service uses Ookla\u2019s platform, and is hosted in Teraco\u2019s vendor-neutral hosting facilities in Johannesburg and Cape Town.<\/p>\n

Through NapAfrica, all network operators present at its peering points are provided with a free 1Gbps connection to the MyBroadband speed test platform.<\/p>\n

To ensure that only valid results are recorded, MyBroadband filters speed tests based on network information from service providers.<\/p>\n
