{"id":88229,"date":"2016-04-10T13:59:08","date_gmt":"2016-04-10T11:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=88229"},"modified":"2016-04-10T14:01:04","modified_gmt":"2016-04-10T12:01:04","slug":"samurai-action-rpg-nioh-set-to-release-in-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/88229-samurai-action-rpg-nioh-set-to-release-in-2016","title":{"rendered":"Samurai action-RPG Nioh set to release in 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nioh is a historical action-RPG title created by Koei Tecmo which is <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.us.playstation.com\/2016\/04\/04\/nioh-launching-2016-on-ps4-demo-out-this-month\/\" target=\"_blank\">set to release<\/a> in 2016 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive.<\/p>\n<p>Nioh has been in development for a cumulative total of 10 years, undergoing a re-branding from &#8216;Oni&#8217; along with other developmental changes.<\/p>\n<p>The game has maintained its projected features however, and offers players a hardcore role-playing experience similar to that offered by the Souls series.<\/p>\n<p>Nioh is set in feudal Japan, with the player stepping into the shoes of William &#8211; a Samurai who is the son of a Japanese noble and a Western women.<\/p>\n<p>A demo of the game will be available from 26 April to 5 May 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Players who manage to clear a stage of the Alpha Demo will be able to download The Mark of the Conqueror DLC.
