Leaks posted on NeoGaf indicate that the new God of War could have a Norse mythology setting<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several images posted show concept art for the game as well as various assets.<\/p>\n

A tattooed protagonist also appears in the images although at first glance it does not appear to be Kratos (which would make sense given the new setting), details provided with the leak say otherwise:<\/p>\n

– There is Kratos, with beard;
\n– The setting is the Norse Mythology;
\n– Kratos will visit Alfheim, \u201cLand Of The Fairies\u201d, one of the Nine Worlds and home of the Light Elves (concepts show the Wall and the Temple Door);
\n– Kratos will be in one or more prison;
\n– Kratos has an Axe, with which he can cut vines and create bridges\/walkways;
\n– The surrounding environment could interact with the character (if Kratos brushes-up against the vines, they expell visible spores).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No announcement has been made regarding a new God of War title following God of War: Ascension’s dismal sale figures<\/a>.<\/p>\n
