Ubisoft has cracked down on cheaters in the PC version of Tom Clancy’s The Division, and will implement new anti-cheat systems in the upcoming update, PCGamer reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The game is set to receive a massive update <\/a>on 12 April 2016, which will include the addition of Incursions and long-awaited changes such as the ability to trade items.<\/p>\n

The Division’s April update will also allow players to report each other for cheating via a “\/report [user]” command.<\/p>\n

The report function flags players for inspection, and action will only be taken against reported players if they are found to be cheating.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft’s punishment for cheaters is harsh enough to ease the frustration of PC players who have run into them regularly.<\/p>\n

After an initial offense is confirmed, cheaters will be suspended for three days without warning – and if they are found to be cheating when they return, they will be permanently banned from The Division.<\/p>\n

As is often the case with multi-platform releases, cheaters are only a major problem on the PC version of Tom Clancy’s The Division.<\/p>\n
