The Huawei P9<\/a><\/strong> will be in South Africa by June at a recommended retail price of R11,999.<\/p>\n

Charlene Munilall \u2013 Huawei\u2019s head of consumer business group \u2013 said the device\u00a0will also be available on contract from around R499 per month.<\/p>\n

Huawei\u2019s new flagship is the world\u2019s first Leica dual-camera smartphone. The twin cameras \u201cwork in tandem to enable users to create images of superior detail, depth, and colour\u201d.<\/p>\n

The P9 will feature an aluminium body, 2.5D glass, and diamond-cut edges.<\/p>\n

Huawei also unveiled a \u201cP9 Plus\u201d version of the device, which boasts a 5.5-inch Press Touch display and a 3,400mAh battery.<\/p>\n

The Huawei P9 Plus will also launch in South Africa.<\/p>\n
