Wrath of the Lich king sees the return of a terrifying dragon not seen since the WarCraft II days, Deathwing the Destroyer. Deathwing makes his return by tearing through a dimensional barrier, which in turn causes a massive cataclysm which reshapes Azeroth. <\/p>\n
Cataclysm promises for the first time to implement a redesign of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Original World of Warcraft areas will be overhauled; it will finally be possible to use flying mounts in these areas. <\/p>\n
What to expect<\/strong><\/p>\n – The level cap will be increased from 80 to 85. <\/p>\n – Flying mounts in old Azeroth. <\/p>\n – New towns and roughly 3500 new quests. <\/p>\n – Seven new dungeons.<\/p>\n – Three new raids. <\/p>\n – New battlegrounds<\/p>\n – The introduction of Archaeology as secondary skill. <\/p>\n – An overhauled Glyph system.<\/p>\n – Two new races; Goblins and Worgen. <\/p>\n – New class\/race combinations.<\/p>\n – Various class changes. <\/p>\n – Revamped stat system.<\/p>\n – New starting areas for Trolls and Gnomes. <\/p>\n – Reworked talent trees.<\/p>\n Cataclysm will be an automatic day one purchase for WoW enthusiasts, and indeed, it is likely to draw many recovered addicts back into the fold.
