{"id":8893,"date":"2010-12-07T13:22:00","date_gmt":"2010-12-07T11:22:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"killzone-3-split-screen-co-op-rumoured","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/8893-killzone-3-split-screen-co-op-rumoured","title":{"rendered":"Killzone 3 split-screen co-op rumoured"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The guys over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nicagamerz.com\/v6\/news\/638\/killzone-3-splitscreen-confirmado\/\" target=\"_blank\">NicaGamerz<\/a> have published an image allegedly yanked from a Killzone 3 preview build that looks for all the world like a split-screen co-op mode &ndash; a feature conspicuously absent from both previous titles in the series.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2010\/12\/06\/rumour-split-screen-for-killzone-3-shown-in-preview-code\/\" target=\"_blank\">VG247 <\/a>managed to get an official &ldquo;No comment&rdquo; out of Sony, but &ndash; significantly, perhaps &ndash; that&rsquo;s not just a &ldquo;No&rdquo;. <br \/>Elsewhere,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.joystiq.com\/2010\/12\/06\/rumor-killzone-3-to-include-split-screen\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Joystiq <\/a>has reminded everybody that president of SCE worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida dropped a rather interesting remark back at E3.<\/p>\n<p>Talking about the game&rsquo;s 3D functionality, he said that, &ldquo;We were going to give players two screens anyway, for some mode&#8230; for some gameplay anyway.&rdquo; Players? Two screens? Gameplay? ANYWAY? I call Guerrilla Games in the development studio with the split-screen co-op.
