{"id":89201,"date":"2016-04-13T08:00:09","date_gmt":"2016-04-13T06:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=89201"},"modified":"2016-04-13T08:02:20","modified_gmt":"2016-04-13T06:02:20","slug":"two-new-xbox-consoles-coming-soon-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/89201-two-new-xbox-consoles-coming-soon-report","title":{"rendered":"Two new Xbox consoles coming soon: report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FCC filing points point to the upcoming announcement of two new Xbox devices this year, <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/gaming\/2016\/04\/fcc-filing-points-to-new-xbox-hardware-revisions-june-announcement\/\" target=\"_blank\">arstechnica reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This information was discovered by a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neogaf.com\/forum\/showthread.php?t=1206958\" target=\"_blank\">NeoGaf forum member<\/a>, who unearthed two FCC filings from March which hint at the development of wireless devices for new Xbox consoles.<\/p>\n<p>There are two different part numbers that appear in the FCC filings &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/fccid.io\/C3K1683\" target=\"_blank\">1683 <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/fccid.io\/C3K1682\" target=\"_blank\">1682<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Part number 1683 is linked to the Xbox One- featuring the same model number and similar documentation.<\/p>\n<p>The confidentiality of the filing will expire in June &#8211; pointing towards an E3 release of an improved Xbox One console. It has been speculated that this device could be something like an Xbox One Slim.<\/p>\n<p>Part number 1682 features links to the Xbox console family but points towards a brand new iteration of the device, as it does not share the same similarities as the other FCC filing.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible that the filing for part number 1682 could mean an improved Xbox console, similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/ps4\/87706-ps4k-might-have-twice-the-graphical-power-of-current-system.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sony&#8217;s PlayStation 4K<\/a> or the rumoured <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/xbox\/88295-xbox-next-appears-on-microsoft-designers-cv.html\" target=\"_blank\">Xbox neXt<\/a>.
