A South African game development studio called Robot Wizard is working on a point-and-click adventure game named Jengo.<\/p>\n
Robot Wizard currently consists of two developers, Louis Du Pisani\u00a0and Graeme Selvan, who are actively working on Jengo and have a great deal of respect for the classic point-and-click adventure genre.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen Graeme and I discussed making a game back in 2009 we instantly agreed on making an adventure game purely for the love of the genre,\u201d said Louis in an interview with Lazygamer.<\/a><\/p>\n The game features a quirky art style reminiscent of the genre’s classics, along with a unique story which sees the playable character, Jeff, exploring a “world full of forgotten game creations.”<\/p>\n \u201cWhile our game has that old school look, it certainly won\u2019t play like one. We have spent a lot of time working on our UI and our animation system,” said Robot Wizard.<\/p>\n Because of the small size of the team and time constraints, Robot Wizard will release Jengo episodically – a format which has been used by similar games in the genre, including The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us.<\/p>\n Check out Robot Wizard and their plans for Jengo below:<\/p>\n
