{"id":89299,"date":"2016-04-14T08:50:12","date_gmt":"2016-04-14T06:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=89299"},"modified":"2016-04-14T13:22:06","modified_gmt":"2016-04-14T11:22:06","slug":"asus-announces-futuristic-rog-spatha-gaming-mouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/hardware\/89299-asus-announces-futuristic-rog-spatha-gaming-mouse","title":{"rendered":"Asus announces futuristic ROG Spatha gaming mouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Asus Republic of Gamers has <a href=\"http:\/\/rogmars.asus.com\/22912016\/gaming-keyboards-gaming-mice\/asus-republic-of-gamers-announces-rog-spatha\/\">announced <\/a>the ROG Spatha &#8211; a futuristic gaming mouse designed for MMO players.<\/p>\n<p>The device features a strikingly aggressive design paired with zone-specific RGB lighting options.<\/p>\n<p>The mouse can be used in both a wired and wireless configuration and features an 8200 DPI laser sensor for maximum accuracy.<\/p>\n<p>The Spatha boasts a 2000Hz polling rate in the wired configuration, and a 1000Hz polling rate when used wirelessly.<\/p>\n<p>The mouse has a total of 12 programmable buttons, which have a smooth tactile grip. These buttons are perfect for MMO gaming, as they can be programmed to use the wide selection of abilities typically present in the genre.<\/p>\n<p>The switches for the main mouse buttons can be swapped out with different ones to change the click sensitivity.<\/p>\n<p>The Spatha comes with a magnetic charging dock, which has a LED battery indicator.
