Rumours have surfaced that Valve may be open to selling user-created content on its Steam Workshop (again).<\/p>\n

This follows a message displayed to Steam Workshop creators who wish to view their items in the store.<\/p>\n

The message states \u201c<\/em>You can subscribe to this item for free because you are the creator or listed as a contributor.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Valve has also updated the Steam Translation Server, adding<\/a><\/strong> in new strings which relate to paid mods, including how profits are split and author controlled monetisation.<\/p>\n

There was severe backlash early last year when Steam began offering paid Skyrim<\/a><\/strong> mods to the community.<\/p>\n
