AMD is set to unveil its Polaris 10 and 11 graphics cards later this month, WCCFTech reports<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The company will reportedly hold a press conference focused on its new high-value graphics cards.<\/p>\n

The Polaris 10 and 11 GPUs will not directly compete with Nvidia’s high-end products – instead, the graphics cards will be aimed at the mainstream gaming market, offering exceptional efficiency and cost-effective performance.<\/p>\n

Polaris 11\u00a0GPUs\u00a0are built for\u00a0laptops and basic gaming desktops, while the Polaris 10 graphics cards are more suitable\u00a0for powerful\u00a0gaming PCs.<\/p>\n

AMD’s new architecture will feature double the performance-per-watt<\/strong> of previous GPUs.<\/p>\n

The company has stated that the Polaris graphics cards are aimed at allowing mainstream users to experience VR without paying the heavy cost of a current-generation VR Ready GPU.<\/p>\n

AMD’s Polaris launch event will take place sometime between 26 – 29 May 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
