Asus has revealed its new line of ROG Strix X99 motherboards aimed at DIY\u00a0PC gamers.<\/p>\n

The ROG\u00a0Strix motherboard is\u00a0based on the Intel X99 chipset and features multiple customisation options and advanced\u00a0technology.<\/p>\n

The motherboard features a\u00a0LGA 2011-v3 socket, compatible with the latest Intel Core i7 processors.<\/p>\n

The Strix motherboard is built for gaming, boasting\u00a0three PCIe 3.0 x16 expansion slots and “GamersFirst” network traffic optimisation.<\/p>\n

The motherboard also features\u00a0an OC Socket to aid overclocking and Fan Xpert 4 for ultimate cooling control.<\/p>\n

There is currently no South African pricing for the ROG Strix motherboard.<\/p>\n

The ROG Strix X99 motherboard will be available from the first week of June in South Africa.<\/p>\n
