A set of leaked specifications for the GTX 1070 has been confirmed by Nvidia, PCWorld reports<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Various\u00a0information\u00a0about\u00a0the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 has\u00a0been appearing\u00a0online, creating speculation as to the exact specifications of the graphics card.<\/p>\n

The GeForce GTX 1070 will cost almost half the price of the more powerful flagship GeForce GTX 1080 card, while also delivering relatively high amounts of processing power thanks to Nvidia’s new Pascal architecture.<\/p>\n

The GTX 1070 will not feature\u00a0the cutting-edge GDDR5X<\/strong> memory seen in the GTX 1080, instead it will use standard GDDR5<\/strong> memory.<\/p>\n

The card looks like it could serve as\u00a0a relatively inexpensive upgrade to the popular GTX 970, although users will have a better understanding of its power and limitations once benchmarks become available.<\/p>\n
