{"id":9325,"date":"2011-01-11T13:55:00","date_gmt":"2011-01-11T11:55:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"gearbox-denies-aliens-colonial-marines-delay-rumours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/9325-gearbox-denies-aliens-colonial-marines-delay-rumours","title":{"rendered":"Gearbox denies Aliens: Colonial Marines delay rumours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the weekend, someone at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/aliens-colonial-marines-won-t-release-in-2011-191206.phtml\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Destructoid\">Destructoid<\/a> heard from someone at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neogaf.com\/forum\/showthread.php?t=417957\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"NeoGAF forum\">NeoGAF<\/a>* who read something in the latest issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2011-01-10-gearbox-denies-new-aliens-cm-delay\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"EGM\">EGM<\/a> that seemed to sort of maybe suggest that Gearbox might not be launching Aliens: Colonial Marines this year.<\/p>\n<p>It turns out there&rsquo;s been an unidentified disruption in communication channels from the <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">colony<\/span> Gearbox&rsquo;s Randy Pitchford, who has quickly issued an official statement to the contrary.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I am certain that I haven&rsquo;t discussed anything specific regarding Aliens: Colonial Marines with anyone beyond emphasising how passionate I am about the title and how committed my studio and I are to making it great,&rdquo; he told Eurogamer. &ldquo;It looks to me like whomever made that post on NeoGAF made an interpretation that could be misleading or inaccurate.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Speculators on the internet got something wrong?
