Developer\u00a0Frontwire Studios<\/a><\/strong> is releasing a fan remake of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 on Steam.<\/p>\n

Galaxy in Turmoil originally began as a CryEngine mod from a group of dedicated fans and is now a fully-fledged game using\u00a0Unreal Engine 3.<\/p>\n

Given the licenses involved, Frontwire were sceptical that the game would see any form of large retail release, but a statement published on Frontwire’s blog <\/a><\/strong>confirmed that Steam would be distributing the title.<\/p>\n

It is with great pleasure that as of today I am able to officially announce that Frontwire Studios has officially signed a distribution deal with Steam\/Valve for the game Galaxy in Turmoil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After ongoing discussion between Valve Representatives and myself, Valve\/Steam has agreed to ship Galaxy in Turmoil<\/strong> to it\u2019s millions of users for FREE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

People have been expressed their concern as of late, saying they expect us to get a Cease & Desist from Disney. I\u2019ll be honest \u2013 I\u2019ve had mild concerns myself from time to time.<\/p>\n

However Valve clearly lacks that same concern. By agreeing to publish Galaxy in Turmoil, Valve is assisting us in growing and ensuring the longevity of the Galaxy in Turmoil project and community as a whole.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was never officially announced by EA, but recent leaked footage<\/a><\/strong> shows that the game was quite far in development before being cancelled.<\/p>\n
